According to the report of Communications and International Affairs Management of Bandar Abbas Municipality, the gathering held by the presence of the Consul General of China, the Consul of India, the Consul of Kazakhstan, and the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bandar Abbas.

The primary aim of this event was to strengthen diplomatic and cultural relations between Iran and the participating countries.

At the beginning of the session, the Mayor of Bandar Abbas welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of expanding international collaborations and connections with similar cities around the world. He mentioned the positive history of cooperation between Bandar Abbas and cities in India, Kazakhstan, and China, expressing the municipality's readiness to establish official sister-city relationships with comparable cities in these countries.

The Mayor further stated that cooperation and the exchange of experiences among cities are essential for sustainable development and improving the quality of life for citizens. He added that the Bandar Abbas municipality is prepared to collaborate in various fields, especially maritime tourism, exchanging information and expertise, and facilitating foreign investment with the guest countries.

The presence of diplomatic officials provided an opportunity for discussions and exchanges regarding shared areas of collaboration, particularly in economic, cultural, and tourism sectors. It is hoped that these interactions will lead to expanded international connections and enhance Bandar Abbas's regional and global stature.
