The second consultation meeting between People^’s Republic of China consulate representatives and Bandar Abbas authorities was held on July 2^nd, 2023 at the mayor’s office, aimed at cooperation and collaboration in construction and tourism projects.

According to the report of Communication and International affairs Department of Bandar Abbas municipality, this meeting was held with the presence of Lue Yang, the first secretary of economic and commercial affairs and Zhang Weijun the consular dependent of People^’s Republic of China, Mehdi Nobani, the Mayor of Bandar Abbas, Abdorreza Bahador, the head of Investment Organization, Maryam Pasalar, the director of Communications and International Affairs Department of Bandar Abbas Municipality, and some of related experts in Bandar Abbas municipality.

After welcoming attendees by the mayor, detailed information and identification of prospective projects including  Bandar Abbas-Hormuz Telecabin, Amusement Park, Coastal high-rise Towers, Lighthouse project, and Bandar Abbas Bus Terminal was presented and explained by the head of Investment Organization. Then, the members of the meeting discussed about methods of cooperation and investment of two parties in projects.

Chinese consulate representatives emphasized that the possibility of implementing these projects must be proven by specialist companies then they will decided to cooperate in these projects. If they prove the possibility of these projects, the projects will be carried out and the method of cooperation and investment will be determined.

At the end of this meeting, Abdorreza Bahador, the head of investment organization and Maryam Pasalar, the director of Communication and International Affairs Department of Bandar Abbas Municipality accompanying representatives of consulate officials visited the prospective location of these projects.
