According to the Communications and International Affairs Department of Bandar Abbas Municipality, the first consultation meeting was held with the presence of Mohammad Reza Eskandari, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bandar Abbas, Li Ang, the Consul General of the People"s Republic of China, Mehdi Nobani, the mayor of Bandar Abbas, Hossein Bazmandegan, the deputy of urban development and urban renewal, Asghar Hosseinipour, the deputy of architecture and urban planning, Abdorreza Bahador, the head of the Investment Organization, Shahram Arman, the head of the organization for urban landscape and green spaces, Maryam Pasalar, the director of communications and international affairs Department of Bandar Abbas Municipality, and experts in this field at the mayor"s office, aimed at cooperation and collaboration between Chinese construction and investment companies and Bandar Abbas Municipality.

After welcoming the attendees and guests of the meeting, especially the Chinese consulate officials, Mehdi Nobani, the mayor of Bandar Abbas, stated that the priority of Bandar Abbas Municipality is to implement waste recycling projects, cable car and lighthouse projects, which are important economically and in terms of decorating, tourism, and the environment. Considering that Hormuz Island is a tourist destination, the construction of a cable car can have a crucial role in attracting tourists. Additionally, the construction of a merry-go-round on the shores of Bandar Abbas is another project that will be implemented soon. These projects aim to create significant progress in urban and tourist services in Bandar Abbas, the country"s economic capital, and transform the city into a tourism destination in the near future.

He continued, "Efforts have been made and are adopted to develop sister-city relationship with cities in China, and it is hoped that with the increase in sister-city relations, we can take steps towards the progress of the city." He requested from the Chinese Consul General that if professional companies are interested in investing in tourism, cable car construction, transportation, rail development, waste management and environmental projects, they can introduce themselves for cooperation and collaboration in the implementation of these projects.

Li Ang, while thanking the Bandar Abbas Municipality for their cooperation in ensuring the security of the Chinese Consulate building, expressed his views on Bandar Abbas and emphasized that during the short time he has been in Bandar Abbas, he has noticed a significant presence of tourists in the city, especially during the final months of the year and the Persian New Year, which indicates the high potential for tourism investment in this city. He added, "The related projects and plans in the field of tourism, traffic, and tourism are suitable and have a good prospect for the future."

If these plans are provided in writing and in detail to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate, and the method of participation and investment is clear, they can be made available to investment companies. Chinese guests and investors who travel to Iran are interested in investing in Bandar Abbas and Qeshm Island. The country of China supports trade and economic relations, and there are no restrictions in this regard. Due to the establishment of the Chinese Consulate General in Bandar Abbas, companies and investors are invited to travel to southern part of Iran to invest. Usually, when Chinese investors travel to Iran, they go to Tehran and consult with central government officials, and with their permission, guidance, and support, they go to other parts of Iran. They have been advised to do preliminary work in Tehran first and then come to southern part of Iran, as there are many opportunities for investment here, as you mentioned the request to create amusement seaside parks. Cities like Shandong, Beijing, and Shanghai have done a lot of construction in this respect, attracting local people and contributing to the development and progress of these cities. If the Bandar Abbas Municipality has a plan in this regard, they can request related companies to implement it and contribute to the progress and success of the city. Since the political relationships between the two countries are good and the news of the successful trip of the Iranian president are heard by many of these companies, Chinese investors are interested in investing in Iran if the conditions are favorable. Li Ang added that the Consulate General does not have the necessary expertise in all aspects, and professional companies in each field must employ to implement the projects. He suggested that by establishing sister-city relationships with various cities in China, you can use skilled and specialized companies in those cities.

Mohammad Reza Eskandari, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bandar Abbas, after thanking Mr. Noubani and Mr. Li Ang for their presence and holding this meeting expressed: China has the ability to design and implement projects in all fields. Therefore, the Bandar Abbas Municipality should provide all its plans and projects in written format and in detail, with a clear explanation of the method of cooperation, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for implementation and investment by China. He emphasized that projects should not be in the form of oral proposals and requests should be presented in writing. He also suggested that if it is decided to sign a contract for a project, before starting work, the relevant experts should travel to China to become familiar with the implementation of the project up close so as to prevent possible future problems.

In conclusion, the mayor thanked the Chinese Consul General and the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for attending the meeting and their collaboration for the progress and development of Bandar Abbas.
