Rahmatollah Dehghani, the deputy of municipal services of Bandar Abbas municipality informed citizens about the beginning of embellishment and cleaning project of the city. 

In the report of Communication and International affair department of Bandar Abbas municipality, Rahmatollah Dehghani said: In honor of Environment week from 16 to 22 of Khordad with slogan of “Environment for the people, Smart and Technical”, we are proud to inform our dear citizens about the embellishment and cleaning project of quarters which are performing on a weekly basis in all of 4 districts of the city with efforts and services of cleaning workers, the workers who maintain green spaces and monitoring of deputies of municipal services and the heads of all urban districts and areas and all organization under the deputy of municipal services.

He added: in the process of this project an urban area of every 4 district will be selected at the end of every week and then all restoration activities such as repairing asphalt surfaces in main and residential streets, alleys and all drilling strips also collecting construction wastes will be done. Changing and repairing rubbish bins and locating new rubbish bins will be done in this project, too.

He clarified: high temperature in summer will decrease the power of workers and depreciate most of equipment and machineries. Therefore, in summer this project will be performed in 16 urban areas every month, but in the second 6 months of the year it will increase to 32 urban areas.

He reminded that: cooperation and participation of people could help to improve our condition and provide more complete services for them, and we hope to build a beautiful city together.
