The mayor of Bandar Abbas and Singapore Ambassador discussed the mutual cooperation between the two countries via Bandar Abbas.

According to the IPRU of Bandar Abbas municipality Ong Keng Yong  the non-resident ambassador of Singapore in Iran in a meeting with the mayor of Bandar Abbas stated: “we can use the coastal capabilities of Hormozgan and Bandar Abbas in Particular. Mentioning the attempt to expand the cooperation with the presence of Singapore trade board and investment in Hormozgan, added: “Singapore is willing to cooperate and communicate with Hormozgan and I hope the visit would be the starting point of the relations.

Abbas Amini Zadeh, the mayor of Bandar Abbas also said: “Bandar Abbas is rich in the historic, natural, cultural and political background.”

He mentioned that the business and investment doors are open to the investors and also added: “we live in a city which has been expanded dramatically in the last few years and is completing the required infrastructures in order to improve better and better.”

He added: “Singapore possesses tourism capacity and we are interested to share the experiences in this field.”

In this meeting some gifts were presented to the ambassador of Singapore and the mayor of Bandar Abbas was acclaimed by the ambassador.
