According to Bandar Abbas municipality IPRU, the second Persian Gulf coastal sports Olympiad started in Ghadir sports complex including soccer, volleyball, handball, footvaolley, flag on the beach, kayaking, boxing and whushu.

“We have to try to attract tourists by promoting the customs and traditions such as coastal sports”, Pooyafar, the governor of Bandar Abbas, stated.

“We have to promote the traditions and customs in order to attract tourists and Bandar Abbas should be displayed as Persian Gulf shining territory”, Pooyafar reiterated.

“Hormozgan possesses the capacity to host Iran’s beach Olympic and even the international one”, he added.

“I hope by implementing the appropriate plans in the sport future of Bandar Abbas and discovering talents, a new start is made for a deep revolution in Hormozgan province and also Iran”, Jahanbakhah, Bandar Abbas Municipality general manager of cultural and sport organization, stated.
