The Persian Gulf has always been an important commercial and economic highway throughout the history; and the three main trade ways including silk and spices and pearl in particular passed along it and the most important centers for hunting and trading pearls have been located in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea and the pearl exported to Iraq, India and the heart of Europe.
Our historic and literate tracks show that sailors mostly Iranians have been into hunting and trading pearl from long time ago and the pearls hunted in Lengeh, Bahrain and Muscat and dispatched all around the world by the businessmen from Sirakh, Lengeh, Kish, Bahrain, Qeshm and India mesmerized every spectator.
