The mayor of Bandar Abbas said: undoubtedly the role of Basij in country, has a direct relationship with the national security, for Basij is one of the items of national security items and one of the most significant bases of protection of Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to IPRU of Bandar Abbas municipality, congratulating Basij Week, Abbas Aminizadeh stated: Ayatollah Khamenei like Imam Khomeini has always honored Basij.

Pointing that Basij’s thought has an inconsistent relationship with the Islamic components, stated: looking at every constitution should be based on its position and the role of Basij has definitely a significant relationship with the national security since Basij basically is a national security item and a principal basis of protection the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The mayor of Bandar Abbas also said: global arrogance after the disappointment in the imposed war has opened another war field with organizing all its equipment and tried to intrigue the inefficiency of Islamic Republic of Iran.

Pointing out the presence of Basij force in helping the quake-stricken people in Kermanshah, he added: in all social fields, Basij and Basiji symbols from the view point of the leader of Iran shows its image as follows: ‘Basij is the nation’s text which is present at educational, religious, social and military centers.
