The flourishing of people"s creativity in the production of handicrafts needs support for the supply and introduction of products
Meeting of the members of the Islamic Council of Bandar Abbas and the Mayor of Bandar Abbas with the presence of the Secretary General of the UNESCO Commission of Iran Dr. Ayoubi and the accompanying delegation.
According to the Communications and International Affairs Department of Bandar Abbas Municipality, Nobani in this specialized meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the exhibition of home business products, stressed the need to pay more attention to the creative capacities of the people of Bandar Abbas.
The mayor said: “The economic advantages of the network of creative cities should be expanded with the production, supply and construction of handicrafts, and this requires the introduction of networks and all-inclusive creative cities.”
Nobani added: “Works in the field of handicrafts and local and indigenous rituals should not be forgotten. Therefore, education in the field of handicrafts is a necessity, and if we are unaware of this issue, the identity crisis will certainly cause great damage to culture and society.”
The Mayor of Bandar Abbas, referring to the exhibition of home business products in Bandar Abbas, said: “Developing a strategic document, research and turning home businesses into sustainable jobs can activate the tourism industry in the region and introduce Bandar Abbas as a global and international city.”
Mehdi Nobani pointed out: “Currently, the need for prosperity and creating social enthusiasm is more necessary than ever, and in addition to the title of creative city, tangible changes must be seen in the city so that people are aware of what is happening around them.”
The official added: “Culture and art are savings and wealth; it should not be easily overlooked. In addition, local handicrafts and local games mixed with the originality, are identity and culture of Bandar Abbas, which shows the cultural richness of the people of the region.”
