Fifty hectares of large urban park will be built in  Bandar Abbas

Municipality, road and urban development are the main executive arms of Bandar Abbas to solve the problems of citizens . 

The mayor of Bandar Abbas said: 50 hectares of land will be handed over to the municipality by the road and urban development for the construction of a large urban park in the city of Bandar Abbas.

According to the Bandar Abbas Municipality Communications and International Affairs Department, Bandar Abbas Mayor Mehdi Nobani, along with the deputies of urban planning and development and members of the Bandar Abbas Islamic Council, emphasized the interaction between the two groups in a symposium of the General Director of Roads and Urban Development of Hormozgan Province. The city will be possible only with the interaction and cooperation of other officials, and the municipality, roads and urban development as the main executive arms of Bandar Abbas will try to solve the problems of the citizens.

The mayor of Bandar Abbas, referring to the positive and constructive interaction approach of the municipality with other executive bodies of the province in order to ensure the welfare, peace and comfort of citizens, said: The construction of a park in the city of Bandar Abbas has given the municipality and this park a recreational space for the people and also that it can be used for housing citizens in emergencies and crises.

The Mayor of Bandar Abbas continued: in order to implement tourism investment projects and develop the prosperity of tourism space .Due to the volume of passenger arrivals in Bandar Abbas, 50 hectares of land in the southeast of the airport will be handed over to the municipality for hospitality and tourism by the road and urban development.

In another part of the speech, the official pointed to the lake and park of Golkani in Islamabad neighborhood and noted: it was decided that the lands of the park and lake of Golkani in Islamabad neighborhood would be handed over to the municipality by housing and urban development so that the municipality could build a park and green space and improve the lake.

Nobani said: the assignment of undocumented lands in informal settlements to accelerate the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the houses should be followed up by the housing and urban development in view of the recent earthquakes, so that the problem of issuing documents to residents of informal settlements with government license plates get up faster.

The mayor of Bandar Abbas stated: The sanctuary of Bandar Abbas has a comprehensive plan that the municipality has been pursuing the ownership of these lands for more than a decade and planning to develop and build a sanctuary suitable for the citizens of Bandar Abbas. They facilitated the consideration of this issue and the transfer of ownership to the municipality as soon as possible .

In the end, Nobani noted: "We hope that with the cooperation of housing and urban development, the city council and the municipality, we will be observant of more prosperity and development in the city."
