The mayor of Bandar Abbas said: The survey of properties throughout the town will be performed in order to achieve urban sustainable revenue and urban planning for the future.

According to the report of Communication and International Affairs Department of Bandar Abbas municipality, the ceremony of properties survey was begun in the presence of the mayor, some members of city council, the mayor deputies and some other managers of municipality.

Mehdi Nobani in this meeting stated that: the survey of properties is one of the concerns of the municipal complex, then continued: according to the ninth article of the Renovation law and with the help of about 80 municipal employees, (40 staff members and 40 field personnel) this plan will be performed for all properties of the city, which is an important issue for urban management and this statistic will be the basis of all planning.

The mayor of Bandar Abbas said: performing of this project plays as an identity card for all the properties of the city also will be as a sustainable revenue and it will help in urban management and prevent illegal occupancy.

Nobani added: Improving the quality and better services for citizens is one of the important perspectives of urban management, and by carrying out this plan; we can take effective steps in achieving our developmental goals.

The mayor of Bandar Abbas added: In this plan, which is expected to last 6 to 8 months, nearly 300,000 properties of the city and their information will be surveyed. Thus, in order to urban development and more precise studying, we request all citizens, owners and business administrators to cooperate with the municipal surveyor in the implementation of this project so that we can make better decisions for implementing matters with comprehensive and complete information.

The head of the Islamic Council of Bandar Abbas in this meeting appreciated the municipality for carrying out this project and said: In order to do some other issues and tasks, we need precise and complete information and this project is a great help for planning in different fields.

Fateme Jarare said: “Planning for city development and providing precise budgets for different quarters is one of the benefits of this plan.”

She added: the implementation of the properties survey plan in the city of Bandar Abbas and the detailed information of this plan will provide stable revenue for the municipality.
